Cascades Dining Room

A vision of elegance
A row of enormous pillars parades through the central area of this two-level dining room. Simple but elegant lighting and a subtle décor create an aura of early 20th century shipboard travel. A grand staircase, worthy of the days of yore, connects the two levels.

The balcony features floor-to-ceiling glass windows, and the lower level includes giant portholes. No matter where your seat, you've got a view through those magnificent windows out to sea, or the interior beauty of a waterfall and aquatic murals.

Cuisine on the Radiance is reputedly the best in the fleet. Although it's not for those who insist on five-star gourmet dining, it will please anyone whose tastes are this side of epicurean. Compared to meals at home, the Radiance dining experience will always come out ahead. (Unless of course your standard dinner includes curried pumpkin apple soup and award-winning filet mignon troubadour.)Two small, separate dining rooms adjoin Cascades. Breakers and Tides may be just perfect for that private party you're planning.

Windjammer Café

This is not your High School Cafeteria.
Royal Caribbean transformed their traditional Windjammer to increase its efficiency. Rather than one or two long buffet lines, the café now contains a number of stations specializing in various types of food. Now you can go directly to the station with the type of food that interests you be it soup, salad, sandwiches, freshly-carved meat, or desert. This innovative design has cut down on lines, and allows you to move freely and easily through the area. As always, you can choose to dine indoors or al fresco.

Portofino

When you need time for you.
Dining on a cruise is always a special experience. Alternative restaurants on the Radiance help make an evening particularly memorable. After all, meals in Cascades are delicious and beautifully presented, but sometimes you want a little more privacy. If its dinner for two you desire, the Windjammer isn't really a viable alternative. Portofino's cozy setting makes it the perfect place to "go out" for a romantic diner. Some critics say the food isn't very authentic, and thus not worth the extra money. However, it is tasty and provides an exciting "date night" experience. Meals are reservations-only and require an additional $20 per person fee.

Chops Grille

Where good friends meet to eat
Mouth-watering meals are prepared in the open kitchen of this steakhouse-at-sea. Diners can watch the chef prepare their food from the comforts of their table at this mahogany furnished restaurant. An intimate, upscale, and restful atmosphere makes this the perfect place to dine with your friends from the other dinner seating. Enjoy hours of delicious food and excellent conversation, you'll feel as if you're attending an exclusive dinner party. Chops Grille is reservations-only and costs and, like Portofino, carries an additional $20 per person fee.

Seaview Café

See the View.
It's practically guaranteed that the Seaview will become you're favorite place for a midnight snack. Sitting high atop the ship on Deck 12 aft, it's view really is quite something. Menu items such as fish-and-chips, nachos, and Jalapeno poppers will keep you coming back. Unfortunately it's often only open at night, so if you snooze, you loose.

Solarium Café

Royal Caribbean knew the African themed Solarium was so great that you'd never want to leave. So they built a café right there, where you can munch on burgers, fries, and pizza without losing you're deck chair.

Room Service

For REALLY private dinners, you can order food right to your cabin door. The room-service menu is available 24-hours a day. During lunch and dinner, selected items from Windjammer and Cascades are available.

Midnight Delight

Trays laden with tempting appetizers are carried through public areas at night areas by staff members. No purchase necessary (and no one to blame for the weight you're gaining).
