Enchantment of the Seas recently completed the insertion of a 73-foot section just forward of her atrium. Yet her “sunny” personality remains intact – if not enhanced by the addition. Glass walls still allow natural light to pour into the seven-deck Centrum, Enchantment’s hub of atrium activity. Marble floors sparkle, lush palm trees stand tall, staircases wind their way to the dome and glass elevators whisk silently from deck to deck.

The Purser’s Desk tends to guests’ shipboard financial questions and the Explorations! Desk provides guests with their in-port tourism needs. The enlarged Boutiques of Centrum offers shopping options than ever before. There’s a Gift Shop, a “Fashions & Formal Wear” boutique, a shop for Spirits and Sundries, a Perfumery, a Logo Souvenir Shop and a now a new Jewelry Shop and a Photo Shop.

The Sports Pool is new. It doubles the number of outdoor pools available to Enchantment guests. The Main Pool is adjacent to the Kid’s Splash Pool, where kid-operated interactive water jets can keep the little ones entertained for hours. Indoors, there’s the Solarium Pool, an “adults only” sanctuary with a retractable roof for all-weather enjoyment. Excepting the kid’s splash pool, each is accompanied by two whirlpools.

Another expansion permitted by the ship’s added length is the Art Gallery. It’s joined by an Art Auction Gallery where paintings are displayed between presentations at the art auctions conducted onboard. A Library offers best-sellers, the classics and reference books. Frequent Royal Caribbean cruisers will find their Crown & Anchor Study a comfortable place to relax, read a book, and maybe plan their next cruise!

The relatively large Conference Room allows guests to mix their cruising with business and doubles as a function room for meetings and get-togethers. RC Online is the ship’s main Internet Café.

There are no self-service launderettes aboard Enchantment of the Seas, but complete laundry, pressing and dry-cleaning services are available.
