Untitled Document
Introduced in September of 2001, the Summit features one of the most beautiful rooms at sea, the elegant Normandie Restaurant. The attention to detail and design expressed in this room extends throughout the Summit. Lighting - sometimes subtle, sometimes edgy - is used as an art form. Colors invite your eyes, textures invite your fingers. Every hallway, every landing, every entrance is an artistic presentation.

But there's more to the Summit than just a pretty face. Consider the following:
  • Luxurious Health Spa. There's no cruise line afloat - past or present - with a more sophisticated or spacious (25,000-square feet) health spa. On the Summit, rejuvenation is a ritual, particularly in the Persian Garden aromatherapy room!
  • Suite Indulgences and ConciergeClass. All passengers who book a Suite or a Premium category stateroom receive special amenities and onboard privileges. No other cruise line in its class offers this level of service to so many stateroom categories.
  • 5-Star Dining. Celebrity continues to receive accolades for its fine cuisine. No wonder - from preparation to presentation, the dining experience is under the direction of Master Chef Michel Roux
  • Museum-quality art. Sculptures, paintings, glassware, and artifacts are located throughout the ship - each carefully displayed and artistically lighted. Even the floral displays are works of art!
  • Unobtrusive Service. From the dining room to the decks, service is attentive and unobtrusive. And here's an extra plus: there are no public announcements over the P.A. system!
  • Unique Specialty Dining. The gorgeous Normandie Restaurant is decorated with wood panels from the original French ocean liner, the Normandie. The service is top-notch and features tableside preparation of many dishes.
  • Up-to- the-Minute Technology. All cabins come equipped with multifunction, interactive 20" TVs; suites feature VCRs and CDs. There's an Internet Café, of course, and a Celebrity industry first: a music library featuring thousands of digital musical recordings and cozy, personal listening stations.
