Adventure of the Seas - Fitness & Spa

ShipShape Fitness Center

Sweat doesn't have to be an ugly word.
To keep on top of your world record buffet attendance, it's probably a good idea to make daily visits to the ShipShape Spa. With 15,000 square feet to play in, you won't regret it.

Whether you like aerobicizing, treadmills, or free weights, this brightly-lit facility has it all. Located on Decks 11 and 12 large windows let you stare dreamily out to sea as you get your heart pumping with on the latest in fitness equipment. With so much to do you may need help. Luckily professionally trained staff is on hand to help. For a fee they'll even personally train you and really show you what ship shape means.

ShipShape Spa

Perched atop the gym (so the aggressive vibes from below don't interfere with your relaxation?), the ShipShape Spa offers all sorts of relaxation from massage to wraps. Comfortable rooms with ocean views make it all the sweeter.

Sports Court

A court for all seasons.
Whether you like basketball, volleyball, or a wicked game of badminton the Sports Court on Deck 13 can accommodate you. Shoot hoops solo or see if a pick-up game is getting underway. Nets cover the court so feel free to give it your all.

Ice Skating

Though they won't let you kick it in with your speed skates, laps around the ice rink is not only good for your heart and lungs, it's good for your soul too.

Jogging Track

Located on Deck 12 you'll find the ship's jogging track. Reports have said that at times it can get a little cluttered with pedestrians. That's OK, you like hurdles too.

In-line Skating Track

Don't forget your wrist guards!
Welcome to the new age in cruising. Bring your blades or rent them out and do laps on this interesting track. Beginners should find an hour when the path is a little less than crazy. Some people apparently think it's for roller derby.

Golf

If you've got a drive for that ever elusive game, you can pick up your clubs or rent them to practice your swing. There's a netted range, and the ever-popular golf simulator that lets you play one of a handful of the world's greatest courses.

Don't forget about the Dunes putting range to work on your short game.

Climbing Wall

Let them show you the ropes.
If you're the type that likes to hang around new places, you'll love the latest addition to Royal Caribbean's athletic itinerary. A climbing wall with routes for beginners and advanced climbers allow people spectacular views 200 feet above the sea. Of course you've got to make it to the top. Staff on hand will teach you how to work your way to the top, and most importantly, how to repel down.
