This is one singular sensation. Royal Caribbean is so dedicated to entertainment, that they named many public rooms on the Majesty (and on most of the fleet) after musicals. The shipboard song-and-dance troupe, the Wave Revue, valiantly attempts to emulate Broadway. Additional comedians, jugglers, and singers perform throughout the trip. Flashy sound and lighting equipment makes you feel like part of the action. Some critics claim that entertainment quality has dropped a notch due to too much emphasis on high-tech and not enough on the high-kicks. However, most guests are caught up in the show, and don't notice any shortcomings.
Viking Crown Lounge
It wouldn't be the same without one. A signature of the Royal Caribbean fleet, the Viking Crown has changed in size and location over the years. However, at least part of this glass enclosed perch is always dedicated to viewing the surrounding ocean vista. From sunrise to sunset, you can look out at distant islands and watch the sky change from dove gray, to cobalt blue, to brilliant orange and pink. Stargazing takes on a whole new meaning cruising through the Bahamas, miles away from city lights.
Casino Royale
Step right up and try your luck OK, you've wanted to go to Vegas forever, but you just don't trust your gambling skills. Guess what? The Casino Royal staff offers free gaming lessons and booklets. This is way better than a land based establishment. Where else would you find a casino willing to teach you how to win their money? By the end of the week you'll have mastered even the ever-confusing craps table. Blackjack, Caribbean stud poker, roulette, and (of course) slots are also available.
Paint Your Wagon Lounge
Color yourself happy. This desert themed lounge is sure to paint a smile on the face of many a cruiser. During the day, it may host a cooking demonstration or napkin-folding seminar. Those who feel a little nervous about hitting the disco should drop in for a dance lesson. If evening arrives and you're still not ready, stick around. A live band is sure to get you out on the floor.
On Your Toes Night Club
Shake that booty. When some travelers think of dancing they imagine swirling and twirling the night away to the gentle strains of a string quartet. You are not that kind of cruiser. You want to get down and get funky to the latest tunes. You want to start at ten and keep groovin' until three o' clock. You are ready to keep the DJ on his toes, spinning the best dance hits from the past three decades. Does any of this sound familiar? If so, proceed directly to the On Your Toes Night Club and do not pass go.
Cinema
Second times the charm Nightlife on cruise ships often centers around bars, without many options for family entertainment. The Majesty has plenty of lounges and nightclubs, but it also has a Cinema where movies are shown nightly. Why should the kids have to watch TV in the cabin? Get the gang together and catch a flick on the big screen. There's plenty of time to go out and party later on; the ship's open until the wee hours.
Schooner Bar
You can never have too much of a good thing This Royal Caribbean favorite sports, as always, a nautical theme. Enjoy an afternoon cocktail and conversation. The bar's porthole windows provide an excellent backdrop for a post shore excursion chat. At night the joint is vibrant with live piano music. Perhaps a shipboard crooner will entertain you, if not feel free to sing along with all your favorites.
Touch of Class Champagne Bar
Care for some bubbly? If you've got panache and your seeking a place for romance, then stroll down to the Champagne Bar. Subtle elegance makes this bar the perfect place to clink glass after glass with someone special. A good selection of wine, champagne, and fine liquors are available. Hors d'oeuvres are served every evening before dinner. Of course, the leather furniture is so comfortable and the conversation areas so private you'll never want to leave.
Blue Skies Lounge
Never saw things going so right. Well the sun will probably have set by the time you hit this lounge, but the air of springtime and sunshine is easy to feel. Everyone's smiling and tapping their toes. Couples cut a serious rug on the dance floor. A live combo plays music that's certain to get cruisers of all ages swaying to the beat. Take a break from dancing, and stroll along the row of windows for a view of the night sky.
Pool Bar
Enjoy a cool beverage by the pool, or climb to the second level and feel the breeze in your hair. This two-tiered bar is your home base on days at sea.
Mast Bar
Sitting with a cocktail at the Mast Bar will make you feel like you're on top of the world.
