| ROTTERDAM | HOLLAND AMERICA | | HOLLAND AMERICA - ROTTERDAM: 14-Night "Black Sea & Egyptian Explorer" Roundtrip Athens |

Untitled Document
On entering service in 1997 the Rotterdam was Holland America's largest,
most facility-rich and amenity-filled vessel. Freshly updated in 2005, Rotterdam,
sixth Holland America ship to wear the name, is as beautiful as ever. The
ship claims a few "firsts" for the line: first with a purpose-built
Internet Center, first with true "boutique shops," and the first
with an entire deck devoted to suites and penthouse accommodations. As such,
it was immediately bestowed the "flagship" title - a title many
loyal Holland America passengers insist she keep, despite newer, bigger
ships in the fleet. Some of Rotterdam's highlights are:
- Spaciousness. Accommodations, on average, are 25% larger than
the competition. And with about 25% fewer guests than comparably-sized
ships, there's more space throughout.
- Luxury. Those spacious staterooms - every one of them - come
with Sealy® Euro-top mattresses, 250-count cotton bed linens; 100%
Egyptian cotton towels and deluxe bathrobes. Suites are even more luxuriously
outfitted!
- Pinnacle Grill. Holland America's intimate, reservations-only
restaurant featuring Sterling Silver beef, fresh seafood; tables set
with Bvlgari® china, Riedel® stemware and Frette® linens;
extensive wine list.
- The Greenhouse Spa & Salon. Luxury extends into the health
spa with more treatment rooms; couples massage rooms; a dry-float suite;
thermal suites and much more!
- Onboard Enrichment. The innovative Culinary Arts Center
- a complete, high-tech kitchen for cooking demonstrations, seminars
and classes! The Explorations Café combines an espresso
coffee house with an Internet Café, Library and music listening
venue!
- New Youth Facilities. Kids and teens have never had it better
on Holland America! Big-screen TV and games; Oasis teen area with outdoor
private pool and waterfall, sundeck; disco; expanded Club HAL hours.
All this - and Holland America's hallmarks of museum quality artwork and
fresh floral displays throughout; understated ambiance and sophisticated,
unobtrusive service!
