| ZUIDERDAM | HOLLAND AMERICA | | HOLLAND AMERICA - ZUIDERDAM: 15-Night "Fall Panama Canal" Los Angeles to Ft. Lauderdale |
  | |
 |
Untitled Document
With the introduction of the Zuiderdam (pronounced "ZYE-der-dam")
- first of their new "Vista class" series - Holland America
confirmed that their proud traditions of spacious staterooms, white-gloved
service, museum quality artwork and fresh-cut flowers would mix seamlessly
with the industry's new directions in shipboard technology and changing
passenger tastes.
That was 2003; this is now, and Holland America isn't sitting on their laurels.
Their recent "Signature of Excellence" initiative is proof positive
that this line continues to successfully combine timeless traditions with
changing trends. Here are some of the highlights - both traditional and
new - that Zuiderdam delivers to her passengers.
- More Balconies and More Ocean Views. Two of three
staterooms feature a private balcony and 85% of all staterooms have
ocean views.
- Upgraded Stateroom Amenities. EVERY accommodation
features luxury bedding, premium linens, fluffy Egyptian cotton towels,
plush bathrobes, salon-quality hair dryers, and more. Suite accommodations
offer additional luxury touches!
- More Space – Fewer Passengers. Staterooms average
25% larger than the competition and Westerdam carries 25% fewer guests
than comparably-sized ships.
- Four Dining Choices. The main, two-tiered dining
room (now with four dining times); a reservations-only alternative restaurant;
and the always-casual Lido Restaurant. Plus, complimentary in-room dining!
- Culinary Arts Center. A demonstration kitchen for
gourmet food presentations, tasting events and cooking classes!
- Greenhouse Spa and Salon! Expanded Kids & Teen
Programs! Optional treatments include dry-float suite, couple’s
massage rooms, thermal suites with hydrotherapy pools and more! Kids
and teens have never had it better with their own space -even their
own clubs!
- The "extras." Expanded enrichment programs,
complimentary evening hors d’oeuvres, Royal Dutch High Tea, hand-dipped
chocolates, ice cream specialties, and more!
