NORWEGIAN - PRIDE OF AMERICA: 7-Night "Hawaii Island-Hopping Cruise!" Roundtrip Honolulu
Untitled Document
It has been almost 50 years since a new U.S. passenger liner was launched. With new cruise ships entering service every year, the arrival of the U.S.-flagged Pride of America may not seem important, but this new ship from NCL is truly different and marks an important event for you, the cruise vacationer.

What does the U.S.-flagged Pride of America bring to cruising?
  • New Itineraries. Take a look at her Hawaii itineraries - they're all Hawaii! By law, only a U.S-flagged ship can sail an all-U.S. port itinerary. On the Pride of America there are no lengthy treks across the ocean or to foreign ports of call just 3, 4 or 7 days of Hawaii inter-island cruising! You'll spend more time ashore and less time at sea.
  • New Staff. U.S.-flagged ships must me staffed by mostly-U.S. officers and crew. In fact, the staff aboard the Pride of America is primarily Hawaii residents, ensuring that you'll get to know these islands like a local!
  • New Pride! American-themed public rooms recall the U.S. Capitol, New York and Chicago skyscrapers, American cars, the California Gold Rush; each of the 8 restaurants feature a range of regional "American" cuisines (Italian, French, Hawaiian, Asian fusion). And of course, burgers, fries, and hearty Texas ribs won't be hard to find aboard, either!
  • Note: Due to local gaming regulations there is no casino aboard the Pride Of America.
As a cruise line, NCL is a perfect match for Hawaii. The line's "Freestyle Cruising" philosophy allows for a more flexible, more relaxed, more "Hawaiian" style of cruising. Dine when, where, and with whom you want. Dress up or dress down to suit the weather, your mood or your lifestyle. Enjoy a broader range of onboard activities, including programs that bring the cultural richness of Hawaii right onto the ship!

As a ship, the Pride of America is a perfect match for Hawaii, too. Custom-built to serve the islands, you'll find a higher percentage of outside cabins and a higher percentage of balcony cabins than on any other NCL ship. There's no better way to take in the beauty of Hawaii than from your private balcony - picture the photo-ops! Plus, there are two, big, inviting swimming pools; 4 hot tubs; a 24-hour Fitness Center; a kid's club and a teen's club; a golf driving net and basketball/volleyball/tennis courts, too!
