Choose
this cruise because
Get the Best of Both! You'll get a comprehensive Hawaiian adventure only a cruise can offer PLUS the romance and relaxation only an ocean journey can give!
Convenience! Cruise one way and fly the other. And West Coast gateways are so convenient!
Savings! Compare the "per diem" costs of these cruises to other Hawaii cruises!
But
consider
Ocean - lots of it. Any ocean cruise may encounter heavy seas. BUT, know that there's a long list of excellent mal de mer remedies to choose from!
Cost. Compared to roundtrip Mainland cruises, these will require additional air costs for travel to or from Hawaii. Book early to ensure the best possible airfare.
It's a deal. The best deals are often in the spring and fall when cruise lines are “repositioning” their ships between Caribbean or Mexico and Alaska markets. But don't wait too long for the cruise deals to appear - you may miss a good airfare deal!
The Oahu Myth. Think Oahu is "too commercialized?" Then you haven't been doing your homework. Sure, the island is home to bustling Waikiki - which, incidentally, looks more lush and attractive now than in decades. But it's also home to the North Shore's laid back lifesytle where surfing matters most. Giant waves at Sunset Beach and the Pipeline are the big attractions. Waterfalls, idyllic beaches, dense jungle - they're all here within minutes of Waikiki. No wonder the hit TV series "Lost" chose this island locale for shooting!
